Our Programs:
Fun and Active Trial Scent Class: Dive into the exciting world of scent work with your dog in this 60-90 minute adventure! Watch your pup’s nose lead the way through fun, fast-paced container games that spark curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen your bond. It’s the perfect teaser to see your dog’s potential before committing to the full 6-week class!
Foundations of Scent Detection (6-Week Class): Start with the basics, from hunt games to building confidence in various search environments. Learn how to read your dog’s body language, motivate them, and create positive search experiences. Week 1 is attended without the dog as we focus on your instruction and prep work for the following week!
Single Practice Sessions: After completing the 6-week class, continue your journey with single practice sessions in diverse environments to hone skills and build readiness for competition.
Advanced Classes Coming in 2025: As we grow our program, expect more advanced classes to help you and your dog reach new heights, including AKC and NACSW trial preparation.

Class Length: Six Consecutive weeks at 45-minuts a week.

No EventsNose Knows 201 – Advancing K9 Scent Work
Ready to take your dog’s scent work skills to the next level? This fun and engaging 5-week course is designed for teams who have completed Scent Work 1 class and are ready to add more challenge, structure, and confidence to the hunt!
We’ll build on your foundation of birch odor recognition and introduce two new target odors—anise and clove. Each week brings new search setups including covered containers and interior hides, helping your dog problem-solve and stay motivated.
This course is equally about the handler—you’ll learn to sharpen your observation skills, reward with perfect timing, and better understand your dog’s unique scenting behavior and body language.
What to Expect:
- Odor review (Birch) + new odor imprinting (Anise & Clove)
- Real-world search challenges: covered hides, indoor locations, and distractions
- Weekly homework to reinforce learning at home
- Team-building focus: handler-dog connection is everything!
- Celebration on Week 5 with a fun search and awards 🎉
